Olaf grew up in “het Oostland,” in and around the greenhouses of his parents. No green fingers, but a keen sense for numbers. After graduating Cum Laude with a Master’s degree in Business & Economics from Erasmus University, Olaf started his career at Rabobank, where he spent five years as a financing specialist for companies in the Food and Agri sector.
His eagerness to learn and curiosity led him to transition to a Westland tech startup as a Business Controller. There, he discovered how people, innovation, and strategic decisions can drive exponential business growth.
At YEALD, all these experiences come together: the entrepreneurial spirit from his youth, financial expertise, and insight into business innovation. As a Senior Associate, he guides companies through M&A and corporate financing processes, striving for optimal results for all involved parties.
